Our Story
Bula, my name is Roselyn - also known as Rose!
After the birth of my first child, Rebekah, I noticed the lack of Fijian products available around New Zealand. I started researching and spoke to my maternal side of the family about what could be done about it. That's when Rosalia's Salusalu began.
The name Rosalia originates from my grandmother (yaca), Elanani Rosalia. To learn more about her and her life, check out this wonderful memoir written by one of the family.
We provide beautiful, unique handmade garlands for wedding ceremonies, birthdays, graduations and plenty more customisable pieces. Our range includes Tapa (Masi), children's outfits, mats, personalised fans, and many more. All of our products are locally sourced from the beautiful islands of Fiji.
In mid 2022 we were supposed to set up our store in Henderson, Auckland, but our little girl Gianna had decided to arrive at 35 weeks. It was a whirlwind but that is when my husband decided to step in with the business and to help.Â
